FIVS-Abridge is an invaluable resource for those interested in the
legal aspects of the international alcohol beverage industry, particularly
for those trading or intending to trade their products internationally.

Content and Functionality
|
FIVS-Abridge consists of a database of national regulations and
relevant international agreements for markets around the world, covering
topics such as certification, composition, labeling, marketing, packaging,
production, promotion, tariffs, taxation and transportation. The
database creates "trade scenarios" which enable users to obtain relevant
legal information for trade between selected markets. The user can also
view regulatory information for different countries in side-by-side
comparisons according to topic.
FIVS-Abridge is a key source of other industry-related information as
well, such as codes of accepted practices, guidance notes, and industry
and market reports.
Finally, FIVS-Abridge offers members a way to communicate and to network
with other Abridge subscribers. A special interactive section of the site
enables members to submit useful information for others to see, as well as
to exchange views and collaborate with each other on important issues.
Links and contact information for industry, government, and inter-governmental
organizations are also available.
